Half-Pinoy Not So Typical Conductor

The true picture of a kind and “not so typical” conductor just blew by me one day. He is not a Filipino (I can tell), for this guy talks with a slang, he is that so kind that he even touched my heart (which is that hard especially to those of the bus conductors that I encounter everyday) but this dude, his really DIFFERENT.

Alfred Eckell – as his name which I saw when he is wearing his ID when I’ve gone on-board to the JAM Transit bus which dispatches at the Southwoods Interchange, Binan, Laguna.

When I tried to go on-board the bus, I noticed Alfred telling EACH and EVERY passenger “Good morning po” (a typical showcase of respect in the filipino practice) and when he tried to reach each and every change of the payment, he tends to say “Salamat po” (Thank you) in a slang way.

Theoretically, I sensed this guy is a half-pinoy/half-european. I even concluded that this dude, is not a typical conductor which all filipino commuters stumble upon everyday.

I admire sir Alfred Eckell. His job, which is not often a job for those half-foreigners (If I believed that he’s grown up here in the Philippines) and he is, for I think, is the one who really make the job of being a bus conductor a lot more meaningful, and how it is done in the modest way.

I salute you sir, you made yourself a very distinct person.

You get captivated by the looks of their hotels, and knowingly and primarily, have their own exotic taste and selection what “Relaxation” is all about. As I heard all in the social  media particularly Oriental Hotels Facebook page made me wonder how can I put myself inside that majestic hotel of theirs. Well, I heard about that they have this Oriental Hotels situated in Legazpi City, Albay Bicol Region. As for my memories are concerned, I really wanted to go back to bicol. As I first done my travel blog describing how great the Bicol Region is, as to their cultural heritage and their great foods and handicrafts. And also, how bikolanos make good friends and companions as for the locals are maybe (maybe! I really don’t know) if they were naturally raised to be nice. Well, it’s great though!

As of this moment, there were likely to get more appreciation and trying to share what is the best part upon going to legazpi, bicol, no recap is stalled, but a great way to make our stay very beautiful!

As you can see, the front of the Oriental Hotels Legazpi is very simple; a metallic piece of material with a design of cursive handwriting to make of the grand entrance of the hotel.

It’s more of a simpler type of hotel than it looks, but it really makes a good one to get the hotel as to differ it to any other hotels.

Simple and extravagant; that’s how I describe the forefront of this hotel.

The logo is on top of the hotel, the structure itself is cool because of it’s white luxury.

When we arrived, it’s raining in legazpi. Cool breeze of weather.

All I can say is, you have to see it, and drop by the oriental hotel (one of the legazpi hotels) and make a good relaxation and comfort to yourself. You, friends, and the rest of the family, can always make a good choice upon what part of the country you should stay in, focus on budget (if it’s really tight), the location, plane packages, round trip transfers..

These are all related to what kind of vacation, should you want to do.

Dreamed of Dating A Korean Girl?

Oh yes, sure I did! I can still remember where I use to fantasize Korean Girls of Girls Generation (SNSD) and topping all those girls from the lovely land of Korea, of course, we all wanted to have a good time with them – through our dreams.

The fact that Korean pop K-POP started to trend here in our country, there’s no doubt that these girls made a huge impact on my mind, having listened to their music even though I CAN’T understand a single word. But those fantasies are not far from reaching it. Dreaming is FREE – and Adobe Photoshop is there to provide. Why not? It’s sounds good whenyou get to tell your friends that you once dated Yuri, SeoHyun or TaeYoon of SNSD.

That’s a WOW. But even though there might be some of the discrepancies between races, yet, I want to see them up close and personal. I started to take a tour on a mall here where 4 minute is promoting their album. Then I said like, “WOW”. They are sizzling hot. Then I started downloading their very cute videos. Then that started my enthusiasm and interest to them.

It’s great to see how I can make them alive in my handy dandy laptop. Great Job!

But how to date them? I can’t tell. I don’t know either! But dreamed to dating these girls that I would present?

First Up is SeoHyun of SNSD. Well, She is my dream girl. ) My girlfriend knows it! But she does have a resemblance with her. I really like her. Oh. For some of the fans also. She starred in “We Got Married”.

My second on the list is Kwon Yuri. EVERYBODY LOVES YURI. Why not? This is a girl of your dreams guys. Well, sadly, she left Music Core in concentration of her acting career (I guess?) But I know she can do it. FIGHTING!

Tiffany (SNSD)

Tiffany is third on the list. Why? SHE IS ADORABLE. I love her smile. Like Yuri does. She grew up in the USA. So maybe she can speak in English personally? Well how would I dreamed to talk to her. (FLY KOREA!)

Boram (T-ara)

Boram is part of the dazzling T-ARA, one of the most popular girl groups in Korea. I really loved Boram for her short hair. And when she makes the cute poses, she really does it the best!

Hyomin (T-ara)

Hyomin knows how to sizzle the crowd. With her Bo Peep Move! SUPER CUTE!

Hyuna (4 Minute)

Hyuna is well known to her super IMBA moves. I don’t know, but she really knows how to captivate people in 4 minutes. (Ohh. That’s why 4 minute).

SoHyun is the reason why I loooooved 4 minute. SHE IS THE CUTEST GIRL in the group. BANG!

Foe me personally, I’m going to kick 2012 with luck. There will be a  lot changes that would determine my life’s journey to the point of career investment. There’s no doubt that 2011 means a lot to me. And here, it should have given me one of the brightest futures where I have myself a new technical skill which makes me more vulnerable in terms of my work experiences.

 

Adding spice to the road bumps of my career manifestation, such skill with Online marketing and SEO makes me more of a shaped marketer of this modern generation. Also, the brief knowledge of having Media as part of my back end career is something to be grateful of. Having to be affiliated with the top TV networks and working with them, also I had backgrounds with a famous brand of casual wears makes me more of a well-rounded marketer as far. The changes and the absorbed knowledges is the most challenging part of having jumped from one work to another, making myself visible on all events that pertains my career is something to be proud of. I know, that the burden of my 2 year graduation aftermath has never failed me to do all the things that I wanted to do, and to achieve all of my goals and activities that would cement my legacy as the Philippines one of the top Marketing Specialists and that is one of the most challenging roles. I know it’s tough, but everything is now within my reach.

 

What happened last 2009 since graduating is not in vain. It makes me more of a great person and the fact that I was going to make the great jump to make me a much more greater person and the passion to do what’s right has never failed to adapt to my present condition. Now, another “career” is waiting for me this 2012.

 

Am I gonna WoW everybody and to be affiliated with Google is something to be proud of also?

The New Toy

It’s about time for the next set of Photography pictures taken by *yours truly*

I’ve recently bought my new Canon EF-S 55-250 mm F4.0-5.6 IS and it was really awesome! The test run I’ve recently done is where I got this stuff on my camera ang began shooting from everywhere.

Review

The lens itself is very easy to use. (OFF THE RECORD) I’ve bought this lens, primarily because I wanted the cheapest telephoto zoom whose range can get to 300mm, and not to put aside my kit lens 18-55mm because it’s still of good use.  My first lens and blog review about my dream come true lens which is a Sigma lens, is very much heavy compared to 55-250mm Canon.

It’s equipped with IS (Image Stabilizer) where I learned (primarily) that having telephoto zooms should really have digital image/optical stabilizers to prevent noise and grains from the image captured.

For Office goers (daily life), you really can’t bring your tripod everyday. That’s why digital stabilizers are good for you to shoot everywhere when you have your telephoto zoom lenses.

Apparently, this lens also have manual focus where the user can really get in to the action of manual photography at it’s best.

The lens is made of like plastic or something, but it’s really light and can really fit into your camera bags.

The Rise of Trendgeeks

It has been a while since I last blogged. I was already at the peak of my career when I was about to keep on the rocks this blog site. Although, I’m still on my prime making some (YAHOO!).

A colorful Day to everybody

A lot of news and the current trends kept on splurging out of their bombshells, a lot of deaths, and successes came about this last month. For this month, I only wanted something new to write, and maybe also to just get out of my comfort zone which is events and photography. This time around, I will keep my hands and try to introduce to you the new website, which is Trendgeeks.

I just stumbled upon this very cute website, a “feel-good” color tone which expresses easiness and comfortability would make it simply attractive, and also, they would exercise quality contents. Nonetheless, this website will offer new, and groundbreaking news from International sources and would likewise satisfy each and everybody’s reading experience.

Estimating for now, maybe they are just so new and would likely to offer more articles that would make a “shake-and-bake” feel to all those internet savvy people, or either the “surfers” would make it more greater than a usual website.

Mind you, this is not a  BLOGSITE; it’s simply like Yahoo! and MSN, trying to get the hitch out of those juicy links beneficial to everybody!

A Dream Come true?

It’s been a good of a ride since the last few months of using my Canon Kiss X3. Although, there can be some problems as to where I can really make most of it’s talented features which can really make my photography skills in a bit of a good condition.  Well, to get you all started, here’s an sample picture of a Canon Kiss X3.

This camera is said to be made in Japan. Also,  a name fragmented to the Canon 500D, it compromise of some really good added features. Although now, as I grow up as a practicing photographer, I really wanted some parts that would make my camera look impressive and really can establish good control. I’m eying to purchase a Sigma APO 70-300mm DG (Motorized) because it’s a lot more cheaper yet quality built and quality shots can look pretty good using this one. Here’s the photo:

Also, for portrait shots, I also aim to purchase a Nissin Speedlite Di622 (not Mark II because of a very tight budget) and as experience goes, it’s TTL performance and off-cam flash makes it more super fantastic. So as for now, I’m still having a hard time getting the right flash for my Canon Kiss X3 mount. And this flash would really compensate me well.

As a practicing photographer myself, I came across some blogs here in the web and came across some events that catered my taste for creativity. There might be some misinterpretations about creativity but one thing’s for sure: I just want to take some pictures and burst out that hidden creative juice of mine! Then, when I just get pass right through one international event here in our place, I took my handy dandy camera along, again used my Media powers to penetrate the event and took pictures of the really fine looking models.

Portrait Photography; The Inset

There’s a lot ways for us to get hyped in the field of Photography. None the less, It’s power doesn’t usually had their visuals and emotional tools to get the expected result we are hoping for. Such as me, a Photographer myself, does not usually add the greatest of all things. Such as Landscape Photography that I don’t have the necessary lens to go to, is quite hard to it.

Well, all I got for now is my handy dandy Kit Lens for Canon 18-55mm. It does not compromise to the best of it’s abilities but! All I can say is, It’s sort of an all around thingy for me. Though as an Advertising and Events Photographer myself, It’s quite hard to take the farthest range of my gear to cope to my best shot.
